Immersed Europe: Public Exhibition Panel

By Member Blogs & Education Sessions

With all the excitement about virtual reality in the home, it’s easy to forget that there is a viable and growing public exhibition market as well that has a very rich history to stand on.  This panel features:

  • Jose Luis Navarro, CEO, InMediaStudio
  • Kevin Williams, Chairman, DNA Association
  • Chuck Ian Gordon, Gordon’s Arcade

This proved to be very entertaining!

Immersed 2015: Moving Movies to VR

By Member Blogs & Education Sessions

This was just amazing!  As explained at the beginning of the presentation, it was impossible to bring the Mission Impossible V experience to Toronto.  Well…almost!  Check out Jose Luis Navarro’s talk about Moving Movies to VR.  He didn’t bring Tom Cruise, but he brought props!  Very creative work by very creative people; Jose is the CEO of InMediaStudio, the company which most recently did the Mission Impossible V and Tomorrowland VR experiences with more to come!

Immersed Europe: Futurists Panel

By TIFCA News

Now that Immersed 2015 and Immersed Europe is complete, we’ve been able to put a lot more effort into encoding the hours and hours of footage from both events.  This was the Immersed Europe Futurists Panel and featured from left to right (at the table) Richard Huddy (Chief Gaming Scientist at AMD), James Golding (Lead Programmer at Epic Games), Myles McGovern (President of IM360), Frank Vitz (Creative Director at Crytek), and Simon Benson (Director of the Immersive Technology Group for Worldwide Studios at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe).

Much more is available in the private Immersed Access service, and it’s designed to be the place where the conversations continue.  Hope to see you there!
