We are pleased to announce that the Immersive Technology Alliance and the Open Gaming Alliance have merged into a single organization called The International Future Computing Association (TIFCA).  This is far more than a merger; it’s an expansive mandate and mission to lay down the groundwork to build what’s next through future computing.

Future computing is the practice of turning dreams into reality with computer technology and content.  It is comprised of three pillars that include computer technology and peripherals, immersive technology, and innovative content and applications.  TIFCA is similarly divided into three core divisions including the Computing Technologists Group (CTG) chaired by Intel, the Immersive Technology Alliance chaired by Advanced Micro Devices, and the Alliance of Content Creators chaired by M2 Insights.

We had a successful launch during Game Developers Conference last week, everyone is eager to get moving, and we encourage prospective members and media to learn more about this exciting effort.  Reach out and be part of building what’s next!
