User experience is everything in the Client-to-Cloud Revolution. The International Future Computing Summit runs November 5-6, 2019 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. Erin Essex, Product Design Manager and Senior Product Designer for Shutterstock, is going to join a special panel to discuss how user experience may be changing as this revolution moves forward.
Educated in Psychology, Erin designs user experiences that build human-centered, empathetic, and sticky experiences which impact user behavior and enjoyment. She has a passion for research, testing, and experimentation to find the right solution for the user and the product. At Shutterstock, Erin works on a number of products including mobile apps and enterprise. Through her career, she has designed for web apps, native apps, SaaS, CMS, data analysis tools, drone calibration tools – she’s done it all!
Erin has also worked with MLB Digital Academy, Oskar Blues Brewery, USA Football, Precision Hawk, and with pro athletes such as Rashad Jennings (NFL, recent DWTS winner) and Vincent Lecavalier (NHL). Erin graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
