NIST Among Keynotes For Immersed 2018

Immersed is very pleased to announce that among its growing list of speakers, one of its highlight keynotes will be Dereck Orr, Division Chief at the Public Safety Communications Research Division Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).  Mr. Orr specializes in public safety, communications, law enforcement, and homeland security.  Among other things, NIST is the organization responsible for the atomic clock, and they have all kinds of direct involvement with future computing and will make for a great speaker at Immersed 2018.The Future Computing EcosystemFuture computing refers to the practice of turning dreams into reality with computers and computer media.  Its based on the pillars of compute performance and platforms, immersive technology, and innovative content & applications.

Immersed has also introduced a guidance kit for candidate speakers so its easier to align submissions with the goals of the conference and have a better chance of being accepted in the scheduled program.  Immersed is going to be a great show this year!
