The first keynote is Derick Orr, Division Chief, Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) Division Laboratory for the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Mr. Orr’s talk will chronicle PSCR’s use of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to advance heads up display technology for public safety applications, and illuminate the possibilities of future tech for public safety in the realms of user interface and user experience (UI/UX), location-based services, and analytics.
