What is Future Computing?
Future computing is the practice of turning technological dreams into reality with computing and computing media. Its pillars include compute performance and platforms, immersive technology, and innovative content and applications.
What is the Client-to-Cloud Revolution?
Computing is heading towards an era of any place, any time, and any device user experiences that are delivered through write-once reach-many content and applications across all platforms. It is beginning with cloud gaming, content streaming and software as a service (SaaS) applications and is growing into a collaborative ecosystem of client and cloud technologies, infrastructure, tools, and innovative content.
The journey to this future is the Client-to-Cloud Revolution, and it will enhance the user experiences of mobile, PC, console, Smart TV, immersive technology, and more. Join the journey by attending the International Future Computing Summit!

Why go to the International Future Computing Summit!
Where is IFCS Hosted?
The first Silicon Valley IFCS was hosted in the Grand Hall of the Computer History Museum on November 5-6, 2019. What better way to celebrate future computing than to be in the presence of innovations past?
The Computer History Museum is a nonprofit organization with a four-decade history as the world’s leading institution exploring the history of computing and its ongoing impact on society. The Museum is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of computer history and is home to the largest international collection of computing artifacts in the world, encompassing computer hardware, software, documentation, ephemera, photographs, oral histories, and moving images.
The museum is ideally located in the silicon valley world and is in earshot of mulitple hotels and amenities for out of town guests.
The Immersed Conference Heritage
IFCS was originally founded as Immersed in 2014. It began as the first major immersive technology event in Canada and has been held annually through 2018 in Toronto. Standard conference features included market-leading speakers and sponsors, regular national and international media coverage, unique business development opportunities, and a very select high-value audience.
Beginning in 2018, Immersed transitioned to a future computing event to better reflect the mandate of The International Future Computing Association and the growing needs of this interdependent ecosystem. With the success of this new format, it was clear that TIFCA’s flagship event deserved a Silicon Valley presence. Immersed has since been renamed to The International Future Computing Summit, and will be hosting its inaugural West Coast edition at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, this coming November, 2019.
