The International Future Computing Summit is proud to welcome Professor Bebo White to our futurists panel. Professor White is Department Associate (Emeritus) at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory at Stanford University. He is a renowned computational physicist and first became involved with what was then emerging web technology while on sabbatical at CERN in 1989. He was later part of the team that established the first non-European web site at SLAC and is recognized as the “First American Webmaster” and a pioneer of the World Wide Web. He is also one of the founders of the Web Engineering discipline and has authored and co-authored nine books and over 100 papers and journal articles.

Professor White is excited about the Client-to-Cloud Revolution because he sees it as a major enabler for those that wouldn’t otherwise have access to modern computing. He is also passionate about Cryptocurrency because it makes it possible for those in developing nations to earn wealth without the debilitating financial service costs they face today.
