Time to Move Out of the Boogle House Part II

Gamasutra has published the second part of TIFCA’s series about the future of cross-platform and client-cloud computing.  Part 2 highlights Epic Games’ Fortnite and CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 as case studies of where the ecosystem is today as well as the challenges it faces.  This is followed by potential solutions being put forward by TIFCA.

Part IIProject CORA

Project CORA (Create Once Reach All) is TIFCA’s proposal to enable a single piece of content to run on many client devices from a single workflow and build process. It can take advantage of the capabilities of each client device, and support a client, cloud, and hybrid client-cloud workload balanced compute ecosystem. The applications go well beyond gaming; these case studies were highlighted for the Gamasutra audience.

Ecosystem is gathering on February 5 to talk about Project CORA and other ideas. Read the 2-page executive summary and contact us to be invited to this private meeting. Invitations are open for roadmap and standards professionals.
