WHAT EXHIBITORS NEED TO KNOW

October 19 – 21, 2017 at the Ontario Science Centre

    • The Immersed business to business and business to consumer exhibits are run at separate intervals so marketers connect with the right people.
    • Exhibits can be preconfigured in compartmentalized spaces up to 30 X 15 feet.
    • Ample electricity and pre-arranged pipe and drape will be set up for fast and easy exhibit building as needed.  Just bring your computers, your devices, and your signage!  We are prepared for seated and room-scale VR experiences.
    • Top level national and international media are scheduled to participate.
    • Immersed is designed to be affordable.
    • Held in Toronto, Canada – North America’s fourth largest city.
    • Special discount programs available for qualified start-ups and independent content makers.

Industry growth requires new customers, new content makers, new investment, new media, and bold new ideas.  Immersed is the one-stop event that achieves all these needs on the Eastern Seaboard.  It’s time for something new.

The Immersed Experience

Immersed remains useful and influential by creating an informative event for professionals to attend in under-served yet valuable territories, and opening new doors to opportunities that are regularly missed.

Immersed meets the needs of business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) marketers by reaching these unique audiences in separate intervals.  The B2B audience is reached during the private professional event running October 19-20, 2017.  The audience includes fellow content makers, technology makers, academics, investors, and media. Over the course of two days, delegates learn from and network with top level executives from all over the world.  This is also where the meals and breaks are served.

On Saturday when the main professional event is complete, the exhibition will be free to enter for Ontario Science Centre visitors so all walks of life can try and enjoy the magic that is immersive technology.  Attendees can include teachers, high school students, parents, teenagers, and experience-hungry adults.

The Immersed 2017 exhibition will be adequately spaced for seated and room-scale VR / AR / 3D experiences and will be preconfigured with compartmentalized spaces up to 30′ X 15′ where needed.  We want setup to be as simple as exhibitors bringing their computers, their devices, their signage, and being good to go.

While most pre-configured exhibits will be based on banjo pipe and drape, a limited supply of velour drape is available for certain VR devices that needed it on a first come, first serve basis.

Special Program For Start-ups and Independent Content Makers

Some of the most ground breaking technologies and innovative immersive content is being developed by early start-ups and small independent content creators.  We recognize that it’s difficult to effectively network and exhibit at other leading events because of budgetary constraints.  When travel expenses and the increasing costs of more floor space are factored in, it’s clearly growing harder and harder to get the opportunity to effectively showcase work and stand out in the crowd.

Immersed 2017 is run by the non-profit Immersive Technology Alliance.  We want everyone’s work to be experienced, and we want them to be able to show it affordably. These options are designed for pre-revenue and pre-investment start-up companies. Each of these options include at least one full access conference ticket.  One additional ticket for a direct employee can be purchased for $100 USD.  All packages are in USD funds.

All start-up program participants are required to pay for their exhibit in full prior to Immersed 2017.  There is an additional $149 velour fee for room-scale experiences based on laser technologies (e.g. HTC Vive).  All start-up exhibits are in USD funds.
