TIFCA’s Client-to-Cloud Ecosystem Report
These Objectives Are Important Too
While TIFCA outlined a handful of short-term objectives to start with, we wanted to identify additional priorities that are important to respondents. We used TIFCA’s Client-to-Cloud Vision Document as source material, and gave respondents the opportunity to add additional ideas to the mix.
ANSWERS CARRY THESE MEANINGS
This is a major priority for us and the strategic importance for my organization is clear.
The connection and benefit to my organization is clear and I want to learn more.
I fully understand this, and my organization could be interested.
I don’t fully understand how this pertains to my organization and need more information.
I understand it and I don’t think my organization would get value from this.
Very few respondents indicated “no interest” in the listed objectives. Just 4% to 7% were “unsure” in that they wanted more information to see if the objectives were a fit for their organization.
Only “supported client:cloud open standards and initiatives”, “exploration of next computing client form factor designs”, and “ability to reuse or repurpose content for different types of applications” had “neutral” ratings of about 30% to 35% in the sample. Most of the remaining objectives had 70% to 80% in the “very interested” and “interested” support brackets.
At a minimum, the identified objectives are seen as having merit and worthy of support.
